About UsThe Aposotlic Worship Center is a ministry of the First Pentecostal Church of Dupo, IL. The church began in the 1930's right here in Dupo, IL.The location of the church was originally on main street, but moved over to Minnie avenue. In 2001, the Lord blessed our congregation with a fantastic opportunity to move and we took it. We are currently located in what used to be the Dupo Elementary school. What We BeleiveWe beleive in that The Bible is the infallible word of God. The sermons that you will hear at our church are bible based; they are not merely interesting thoughts on scripture. As to salvation, we teach as the apostles did:
The above steps are taken directly from Acts 2:38: the sermon preached by Peter on the Day of Pentecost. When asked what they should do, Peter replied with teh above steps that they should take. This is not salvation by works, it is simpy obedience to the Word of God. We are a holiness church which is to say that we teach and preach the absolute necessity of living a holy life.
